Now that you know all about the coordinate plane and how to use it to make a game or to create art, think about other ways the coordinate plane can be used in everyday life, at home, in a job, for entertainment or fun.
Collaboration Steps:
Don’t forget to make things off on your PROGRESS TRACKER!
1) Look at these websites and fill in the questions the COLLABORATE! worksheet to guide your thinking.

2) What job might use the coordinate plane or something like it? Come up with a job and how they might use it. You will need this for the Gallery walk.
- Write a paragraph about the job and how they would use the coordinate plane.
- Find a graphic that goes with your paragraph. It can be a person place or thing!
- Check the Final Rubric to see exactly what you need to do.
3) Each of you need to write your own paragraph about how you used the coordinate plane as a Gamer and an Artist and include a graphic for each (see the Final Rubric!).
4) Put together a poster on 11×17″ paper with your 3 paragraphs and 3 graphics. See the rubric for the details!
5) Gather all of the necessary items/handouts for the Gallery Walk that are listed on the Rubric so you are ready for the big day!
Don’t forget to mark things off on your PROGRESS TRACKER!
and then move on to the final step…
