Let’s begin by setting up your own Google Classroom, choosing a theme, and getting it ready to invite students.

DO it!

STEP 1: Create a Google Classroom

(Rudd)

You now have a Google Classroom. You will want to get it prepared for your students. Start by creating a theme that brings attention to your content area and/or what you want your students to accomplish. If you have an image or photo that would like to use, make sure it is saved on your laptop. The next video will show you how to use that image, change its size using the Preview app on your MacBook Air, or use one of the many provided Google Classroom headers.

STEP 2: Choose a Theme for your Google Classroom

In it you will learn how to add an announcement to the Stream, decide on student commenting using the Student tab, and add information and materials to the About tab.
