545px-Xbox_360_SOne dark and stormy night, Piet Mondrian, the famous artist, was playing X-box. Suddenly a huge electric bolt shot out from the screen, to his controller, to his hands and up his arms. He was very shaken up and decided he had better go to bed. When he woke up the next day, he couldn’t paint or draw. He had no ideas and nothing worked. He lost his art!

Mondrian remembered that in 5th grade math, he first learned about using the coordinate plane to draw shapes. It was a long time ago and he now can’t remember how it works. He decided to visit our school to locate talented 5th graders who might help him.

He needs to get his art back and he needs safer games to play so he doesn’t get shocked again. Will you help? Piet speaks HELP large png.012
